Cohasset, Massachusetts is a coastal community about 25 miles south of Boston and is primarily residential. Many residents make the daily commute to work by commuter rail, car or commuter boat.
Cohasset’s central village lies around a spacious village common with a small pond, and includes specialty shops, the colonial First Parish Meeting House and St. Stephen’s Church. The town offers an active Community and Arts Center, three historical museums, the South Shore Music Circus, two town beaches and 2 recreational parks, Whitney Woods Reservation and Wompatuck State Park. Along picturesque Cohasset Harbor are restaurants, sailing and historic Minot’s light.
